Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations in Illinois to support the Warehouse Supervisor in inbound or outbound management. You will guide warehouse staff, coordinate shipment receipts, scheduling, and generate workforce productivity reports while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include training new staff, coordinating daily work with leadership, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This is a full-time on-site role with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of related warehouse experience.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment including PIT.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience leading a team preferred.
• Prior knowledge of WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training new employees on procedures.
• Coordinate daily workflow with leadership to meet safety, productivity and quality targets.
• Coordinate housekeeping, inventory control and safety compliance.
• Lead team meetings including safety and quality discussions.
• Resolve minor issues and handle employee inquiries.
• Occasionally work in production as needed.
