Warehouse Operations Manager: Kansas City, MO

Approximately 80% of the manager’s time will be involved in warehouse operations:

1. Manage daily operations of a small distribution center, including inventory management, branch supplies, product distribution, and customer service.
2. Conduct interviews for drivers and warehouse support staff to assist in recruitment.
3. Supervise and train branch employees.
4. Handle banking deposits and basic accounting duties.
5. Drive a forklift (training provided).
6. Use software such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, and others.
7. Comply with DOT rules and regulations.

Approximately 20% of the time may involve product delivery activities:

1. Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck.
2. Ensure safe and timely delivery with high customer service standards.
3. Follow DOT rules and regulations.
4. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
5. Maintain a professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, motivated, and possesses strong communication skills.
