Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP seeks a Warehouse Manager to support the Detroit Refinery in Detroit, MI. The role reports to the Supply Chain Director and oversees warehouse operations, inventory management, and staff development.

The position emphasizes safety, process efficiency, and collaboration with project teams to ensure reliable refinery operations and timely material availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Five or more years’ warehousing or business relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Warehouse Supervisors and/or Warehouse Technicians.
• Oversees daily warehouse operations including goods receipts, issues, picking, staging, and cycle counting.
• Maintains inventory controls and accuracy, including custody and movement and KPI tracking.
• Coordinates warehousing for maintenance, operations, turnarounds, and capital projects with end users.
• Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Marathon policies.
