Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking an organized, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, purchasing, and daily operations for our warehouse team in Bowling Green, KY. You will manage stock levels, support multiple lines of business, hire and train staff, and ensure accurate weekly inventories while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the day.
• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse purchasing and inventory, ensuring accurate weekly inventory counts and proper documentation (invoices, requisitions, transfers, etc.).
• Support LOB sales activities including product purchasing, rotation, placement, and mapping.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse picking staff; oversee scheduling to balance labor needs with employee time-off requests.
• Monitor daily/weekly reports to control spoilage, labor costs, and data integrity; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, audit-ready warehouse in compliance with safety and food safety policies (signage, forms, SOPs).
• Conduct regular self-audits and staff meetings to maintain communication and performance standards.
• Oversee building and fleet vehicle maintenance, equipment upkeep, and overall facility security.
• Maintain technical proficiency in internal systems (VendSys, LightSpeed) and communicate regularly with the Director of Warehouse Operations on needs and updates.
• Step in to perform warehouse personnel duties as needed to support operations.
