Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of warehouse work experience is required.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Agricultural experience is preferred.
• Class A CDL preferred.”

Responsibilities

• Establishes operational procedures for verification of shipments and inventory for one location.
• Inspects warehouse, equipment and vehicles.
• Prepares work orders for repairs and replacements of equipment and vehicles.
• Maintains monthly truck reports.
• Assists with hiring/training employees.
• Coordinates warehouse activities with production, sales, records control, purchasing and compliance.
• Directs salvage of damaged or used material.
• Participates in safety and plant protection activities to comply with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Handles walk-in sales and works with supplier representatives.
• Ensures drivers conform to DOT regulations.
• Provides back-up to truck drivers and administrative staff.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned; maintains regular attendance.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
