Job summary

CPS Inc. in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to lead multiple facilities. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping while driving inbound/outbound logistics, routing, and distribution efficiency.

The role partners with Sales and Purchasing to ensure product availability and exceptional service. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in warehouse operations, 5+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, and ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse/Distribution Operations or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, staging, inventory control and shipping.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, routing, truck utilization and distribution efficiency.
• Partner with Sales and Purchasing to ensure product availability and customer service.
• Drive customer fill rates and maintain accurate inventory, lot codes, and ERP transactions.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize write-offs.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse accuracy, capacity, and transportation utilization.
• Maintain warehouse safety, equipment, and standard operating procedures.

A growing food manufacturing company in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics to lead warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics for multiple facilities. This role is responsible for improving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, customer fill rates, and distribution performance across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, inventory control, and shipping.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, routing, truck utilization, and distribution efficiency.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure product availability and customer service.
• Drive customer fill rates and maintain accurate inventory, lot codes, warehouse locations, and ERP transactions.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize write-offs.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse accuracy, capacity, slotting, route optimization, and transportation utilization.
• Maintain warehouse safety, equipment, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Warehouse/Distribution Operations or a related field.
• 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience within the food manufacturing industry.
• Required experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Executive presence and outstanding presentation skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Base salary: $125-145k
• Bonus: 15%
