Job summary

Unipart-Logistics in West Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the MBTA contract. This role oversees safe, efficient warehouse operations, drives KPI performance, and manages inbound and outbound flows, while controlling costs and mentoring the team to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 8+ years of warehouse and distribution experience.
• Excellent leadership and people skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to take ownership and drive results.
• Intermediate knowledge of Oracle functions/transactions or similar WMS.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee KPI delivery and customer satisfaction, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Ensure site meets budget targets and implement countermeasures.
• Manage daily warehouse BAU activities including inbound/outbound/returns/processing flows.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet volume demands and optimize efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and secure work environment and enforce procedures.
• Ensure EH&S and security requirements are met and compliant with policies and laws.
• Oversee recruitment, selection and onboarding of warehouse staff.
• Supervise and train employees, leading by example to deliver high quality services.
• Protect inventory and company assets per guidelines.
• Communicate progress and updates to senior management.
