Job summary

RemX is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Detroit, driving performance, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will supervise supervisors and hourly staff, optimize staffing, and deliver data-driven improvements across inventory, sequencing, and material flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• 2–5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or 3PL environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team development skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office, WMS, and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and material flow.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and hourly team members.
• Ensure staffing levels and effective workforce planning.
• Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process enhancements.
• Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and communicate performance reports to leadership.
