Crane is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee staffing, scheduling, and mentoring of warehouse staff in our Illinois facility. The role requires coordinating activities with other departments to improve efficiency and protect company assets.

Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and inventory systems. Candidates should have 5+ years in warehouse work and 3+ years in supervisory roles, plus a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse work.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the recruitment of hourly employees for the warehouse.
• Ensures planning, direction, scheduling, and assignment of jobs for warehouse staff.
• Manages department performance through coaching, mentoring and motivation of warehouse staff.
• Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment, through a third-party vendor, and safeguards company assets.
• Other duties as assigned
