Job summary

Maersk in the United States is seeking an Operations Supervisor to drive warehouse productivity and data‑driven decisions at Pilot locations. This hands‑on management role emphasizes safety, training, and performance reviews to maximize efficiency and quality of work.

You will oversee loading/unloading, RF scanner workflows, dock checks, and accurate labeling while coordinating with teams. Weekend work and a 9:00–18:00 schedule are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Implement security and safety improvements that benefit the company’s assets, visitors, tenants and employees.

• Work variable hours, including weekends.
• Utilize RF scanners in an advanced warehouse setting to improve inventory accuracy and productivity.
• Handle work-related injuries and ensure OSHA compliance.

• Oversee loading and unloading trucks.
• Ensure all labels go on the correct freight.
• Note damages and shortages.
• Clean and sanitize after shifts.
• Provide accurate dock check scans at shift end.
• Ensure freight is scanned in and out at all times.
• Provide accurate dock checks for customer service when needed.
