Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide and control warehouse activities, ensuring accurate storage and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, and supervising timely delivery while maintaining security.

The role emphasizes safe working conditions through adherence to safety programs, inventory management, and collaboration with management to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexible and capable of adapting to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and assignment of work to achieve efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and help establish inventory levels based on historical usage and future demand.
• Receive incoming shipments and enter information into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality per order; reject undesirable items.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep at all times.
• Assist in ordering from site vendors; communicate needs to management and vendors.
• Develop and implement improvements in warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training to warehouse staff and assist in selecting employees.
• Uncrate shipments and manage disposal or storage of containers and packaging.
