Job summary

Modular Power Solutions (MPS) is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Houston to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance. You will organize materials, coordinate deliveries, and lead teams to maintain production flow and workplace efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with experience in manufacturing environments and familiarity with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with material-handling equipment and preventive maintenance practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and stage products to support production lines.
• Coordinate delivery of steel and other materials to maintain continuous production flow.
• Ensure trash hoppers inside the facility are emptied daily and recycling programs are maintained.
• Conduct weekly tool inspections and monthly inventories.
• Maintain forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment; ensure propane availability.
• Calibrate tools such as crimpers and torque wrenches.
• Order tools and manage inventory of production items.
• Store chemicals properly and comply with safety regulations.
• Keep storage areas neat and walkways clear.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for facility systems (plumbing, HVAC, alarms).
• Maintain parking areas and exterior grounds.
• Support foremen and team in keeping lines clean.
• Receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with partners.
