Job summary

Composites One in Minnesota seeks a Warehouse Manager to lead safety, quality, and daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution. You will manage staffing, processes, and performance to meet operating income and ROA goals.

Responsibilities include optimizing layout, coordinating with buyers and carriers, reducing freight costs, conducting inventory counts, enforcing OSHA and FIFO, and developing staff through coaching. Strong teamwork and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment with supervisory experience.
• Experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack.
• In-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and HAZMAT shipping.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn internal systems (SAP).
• Proficient with WMS and logistics systems (B2B, SDS).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing systems and processes to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Investigate shipping/receiving errors and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships for timely delivery.
• Coordinate product movement, warehouse space, and stock rotation with regional teams.
• Oversee physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Monitor freight transactions and optimize freight costs.
• Plan warehouse layout and storage considering item characteristics.
• Lead and coach warehouse staff to meet performance goals.
• Promote customer focus and a quality warehouse environment.
