Job summary

MSI Express in Batavia, IL is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to ensure warehousing, shipping and receiving targets are met by training staff, managing schedules, and maintaining inventory integrity. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to improve processes, ensure quality and maintain food-safety standards in a GMP-compliant environment.

The ideal candidate will lead safety initiatives, manage shifts, and drive continuous improvement while supporting customer visits

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse teams and training staff.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage scheduling and shift coordination.
• Experience with inventory control and inbound/outbound logistics.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse shift management and coordination.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to SOPs.
• Manage material receiving and shipping documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to meet shipping/receiving goals.
• Conduct plant audits and drive quality improvements.
• Train and develop warehouse personnel.
• Generate work orders for equipment issues and improvements.
• Track inventory levels and cycle counts.
