Job summary

MSI Express is seeking a full-time lead for our production/warehouse team in Illinois. The role supports the production line under the supervision of the production/warehouse supervisor, ensuring smooth operations and safety, while covering break periods and line downtime documentation.

The ideal candidate will be experienced with line set-ups, start-up procedures, and equipment troubleshooting, and will report any safety or quality issues promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Experience with all set-ups before starting the production line.
• Ability to follow start-up sheets and safety rules.
• Ability to read instructions and follow directions precisely.
• Familiarity with documenting line performance and downtime.

Responsibilities

• Provides input to supervisor to improve production/warehouse efficiency.
• Assist operators and maintenance in troubleshooting equipment.
• Relieve operators for lunch and breaks as needed.
• Document line operation and downtime across the shift.
• Follow company policies including safety practices.
• Support food safety and quality within their influence and report issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as instructed by management.
