Job summary

Casa de Fruta is seeking an Assistant Manager of Warehouse Operations to oversee daily shipping, receiving, packaging, and end-to-end order fulfillment. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and collaboration with teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising operations, maintaining safety, coordinating with carriers, and training staff.

Qualifications

3+ years in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or fulfillment.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Experience with e-commerce or online order fulfillment strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable with hands-on physical work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or order management systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily warehouse operations including packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory flow.
Ensure Casa de Fruta branded products are packaged accurately and to standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Support scheduling and workflow planning to meet deadlines.
Oversee inbound and outbound shipping/receiving activities.
Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
Prepare outgoing shipments with packing, labeling, and documentation.
Coordinate with carriers and internal departments for timely deliveries.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse staff.
Train team members on packaging, shipping, and order fulfillment.
Identify inventory discrepancies or process improvements.
Maintain records within inventory and order management systems.
