Job summary

Sysco Northeast Redistribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution activities. You will ensure safe, efficient operations, accurate receiving and shipping, and effective staff performance management.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and planning abilities, with supervision of 15–25 colleagues and adherence to safety and quality standards. Full-time on-site in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Lead or supervisory experience required for the role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work and time, analyze data, follow policies and procedures, and solve problems.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Certification on material handling equipment is required or the ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, put-away, and shipping to ensure efficient, accurate handling and customer satisfaction.
• Coach staff on safety, performance, and company policies; reinforce Best Practices.
• Schedule shifts to cover vacations, holidays, and other absences; coordinate staffing.
• Monitor workflow and productivity; balance staff across areas with labor management tools.
• Maintain warehouse integrity, security, and equipment appearance.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Transportation to optimize flows and reduce shrink.
