Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. in New Bern, NC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead material handling and distribution, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced chemical distribution setting.

The role requires 2+ years in production or supply chain, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and ERP experience (JD Edwards preferred); weekend/on-call availability and a valid driver’s license may be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a production or supply chain or related manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Demonstrated experience in problem solving, project management and communication.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous MRP or ERP experience; JD Edwards preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and be on-call.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing (if required to operate a company vehicle).

Responsibilities

• Train, support and supervise direct reports.
• Uphold standards of quality and service to customers.
• Assist with inventory levels and processes.
• Operate safely and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with environmental, safety and health regulations.
• Know equipment and process operations; handle, transfer, ship, receive and store chemicals.
• Pick orders; load and unload trucks.
• Oversee inventory process.
• Apply product quality and safety standards; report incidents.
