Job summary

Bird is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Akron, OH to oversee and optimize the performance of our service center. You will lead a team of Mechanics, manage daily tasks, and ensure safety, quality checks, and efficient vehicle deployment.

This role requires 3-5 years of warehouse leadership, strong time management, and the ability to learn quickly. You will collaborate with market managers, support inventory, and uphold our safety standards while keeping operations aligned with KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years managing a warehouse with direct people management.
• Experience working toward KPIs and process improvements (lean/CI preferred).
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to perform quick repairs.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, train, and lead a team of Mechanics while assigning daily tasks.
• Maintain a team-oriented environment and integrate new Mechanics.
• Evaluate and provide feedback to market manager on team performance.
• Ensure safety of vehicles by completing quality checks prior to deployment.
• Follow safety procedures to keep Bird riders on the safest vehicles.
• Document completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
• Manage vehicle operations including inspection, rotation, and check in/out.
• Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles.
• Perform in-warehouse repairs from basic maintenance to electronic part replacement.
