Job summary

Bird is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a Hyattsville, MD facility, ensuring safe, efficient operations and high-quality service. You will guide a team of mechanics and warehouse staff, drive productivity, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet shipping targets.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvements (lean), inventory control, and KPI ownership, with opportunities to shape our logistics footprint while enjoying Bird perks and a climate-friendly, urban-mobility mission.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years previous experience of managing and maintaining a warehouse environment with direct people management.
  • Process improvement experience - (lean, continuous improvement preferable).
  • Strong mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Safety: Maintain a safe and clean warehouse to OSHA standards and promote safety culture.
  • Quality: Uphold Bird standards on vehicle repair, maintenance, and refurbishment for safe rides.
  • Productivity: Execute daily operations to meet repair targets and manage mechanic shifts.
  • Inventory management: Manage check-in, scrap, cycle counts, and spare parts levels.
  • Reporting: Track KPIs and ensure compliance across the repair lifecycle.
  • All other duties as assigned.
