Job summary

A-dec is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Leader to manage receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement in support of manufacturing across multiple locations. You will lead a cross-functional team, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and coordinate material flow to sustain supply.

The role emphasizes lean, continuous improvement, workforce management, coaching, and partnership with HR to address staffing and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control, material flow, and distribution processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Working knowledge of safety standards and material handling practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision‑making, and prioritization skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement.
• Coordinate material flow and distribution across warehouse locations and production areas.
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including system transactions, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor and drive performance through KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, attendance).
• Identify and resolve operational issues related to inventory, workflow, staffing, and material flow; elevate systemic issues as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; support performance management, training, onboarding, and employee engagement.
• Manage workforce administration, including timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling to meet operational demands.
• Partner cross-functionally and with HR to address employee relations, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including safe operation of material handling equipment (PIT).
• Drive continuous improvement using lean principles; support cost control, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
