You will develop supplier relationships, conduct audits, and manage inventory control in a lean manufacturing environment while collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet company-wide needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in material purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in supplier and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of the value chain process.
• Ability to analyze cost drivers and develop savings strategies.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and inventory control proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials, supplies, and services meet procurement goals and policies.
• Research new materials, products, or processes and communicate findings.
• Develop processes using data analysis to meet customer requirements and reduce excess inventory.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance for quality and continuity of supply.
• Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
