Job summary
Celestica in the Dallas–Fort Worth area (Richardson, TX) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations and teams in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has 4 to 6 years in warehouse supervision, with strong expertise in material flow, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
This role requires hands-on leadership, safety compliance, and the ability to coordinate with production. The position offers a collaborative environment in a high-tech setting and opportunities
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or high-tech assembly environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Strong practical experience with WMS and ERP/MRP inventory modules; knowledge of barcoding and scanning technology.
- Proven ability to supervise, train staff, and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehouse functions: receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Lead, train, and mentor material handlers and clerks; enforce safety protocols.
- Manage cycle count program with Inventory Analyst to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate material flow from storage to production lines for assemblies.
- Ensure all movements are recorded in WMS/ERP systems.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory locations and labeling.
- Monitor inbound/outbound logistics and ensure accurate documentation.
