Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping. You will lead a professional team, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive efficiency through process improvements.

Ideal candidates will have a technical degree, experience in warehouse/logistics, and strong leadership with knowledge of WMS. This role supports a global engineering operation with a focus on reliable material flow and team development.

Qualifications

Typically requires a technical degree and several years of relevant work experience to manage and coordinate one or more professional-level teams.
Experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Assign tasks and monitor performance of warehouse staff.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow.
Train and mentor team members on warehouse best practices.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
