Job summary

Rite Rug is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in Indianapolis to lead receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will supervise staff, implement policies, safeguard assets and ensure timely inventory control.

The role requires 4+ years in warehouse leadership, strong budgeting, safety management, and process improvement. You will optimize layouts, monitor equipment, and coordinate with procurement and shipping teams to meet financial and service targets.

Responsibilities

• Directs receiving, warehousing, and distribution services and supervises staff.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Safeguards warehouse operations by establishing security procedures.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling data.
• Plans layouts and inspects equipment to maintain physical warehouse condition.
• Prepares annual budget and analyzes variances to support financial objectives.
• Schedules and assigns employees to complete operational requirements.
• Coaches and develops warehouse staff; conducts performance reviews.
• Keeps knowledge current by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results.
