Job summary

NFI in Groveport, OH is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager I to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, manage staff, and implement action plans to ensure efficient operations across a 100,000–500,000 sq ft facility.

You will partner with the General Manager to develop strategic plans, optimize labor, and enforce safety, quality, and regulatory standards while driving productivity and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic plan in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation.
• Directs the operations of the warehouse supervisors and warehouse personnel.
• Oversees inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and timely.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts and historical data.
• Ensures safety and regulatory standards are followed across the facility.
