Chief of Staff Kc is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Operations Manager in the Kansas City area to lead a small warehouse team and oversee daily operations. This role reports to ownership and emphasizes initiative, problem solving, and visible impact with room to grow.

You will manage inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory accuracy, and workflow planning, while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or operations experience, including 1-2 years leading a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a get-it-done attitude.
• Comfortable with inventory and shipping systems, and quick to learn new technology.
• A coach who builds people up and holds them accountable.
• Able to work independently and communicate clearly with leadership.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet as needed.
• Preferred: experience with kitting, e-commerce fulfillment, or a 3PL environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead, schedule, coach, and develop a small warehouse team.
• Oversee inbound receiving and outbound shipping to keep orders accurate and on time.
• Keep the warehouse organized, safe, and efficient, and improve layout and processes over time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Work with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and keep product moving.
• Plan staffing and workflow for busy seasons.
• Track key metrics and recommend improvements to ownership.
• Hire, train, and evaluate team members.
