Job summary

AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation in Olive Branch, MS seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead receiving, shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment. You will direct a team, ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with DEA regulations, and coordinate with cage/vault staff.

The role requires prior warehouse leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage overtime and weekend on-call rotations to meet distribution needs.

Qualifications

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing.
• Good decision-making skills.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good leadership/coaching skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.

• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates; foster teamwork.
• May require proficiency to operate a reach truck.

Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Supervisor hires, terminates, directs and evaluates associates.
• Oversees receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, and cage/vault management.
• Verifies and records outgoing shipments of controlled substances; ensures safety guidelines are followed.
• Directs workflow, trains and monitors performance; suggests productivity improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Coaches employees for development; manages attendance and overtime as needed.
• Maintains logs and records for materials received and shipped; verifies documents.
