Job summary

DFamilk is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee and direct warehouse/cooler staff, coordinate materials movement, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory. You will liaise with production, sales, and customer service to maintain optimal stock levels and enforce safety and food quality standards.

The role requires leadership experience, a relevant undergraduate degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics, or related curriculum.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse, cooler, distribution, production, logistics, or related environment with leadership attributes.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and monitor work, and provide clear direction to warehouse/cooler employees to meet business needs.
• Assist with design and implementation of work methods and procedures for verification of shipments and inventory.
• Maintain and reconcile inventories; ensure month-end inventories are accurate.
• Determine quantities of packaging, ingredients, finished products, and communicate needs to the appropriate area.
• Coordinate purchasing activities to maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Coordinate with outside warehouses, suppliers, and customers as appropriate.
• Follow up on delivery to ensure efficient stock for plant success.
• Inspect warehouse conditions and ensure safety standards are met.
• Promote positive working relationships and apply union/employee policies.
• Supervise assigned employees, manage time records, and participate in contract discussions as requested.
• Promote safe work behaviors and conduct safety training.
• Document procedures for production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Look for ways to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
