Job summary

Specialty Building Products, a SBP Brand, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse team from receipt through delivery to the shop and docks. You will guide pullers, receivers, cycle counters and order pickers, while ensuring safety, OSHA compliance and proper handling of the HAZMAT program.

Responsibilities include planning schedules, explaining work orders, maintaining records, and fostering staff development.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, industrial engineering or operations management.
• 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience with 5+ years related warehouse experience.
• General computer knowledge including internet, Excel, Access, WMS, scanner and email.
• Fork Lift operator certification, Reach Truck and order Picker experience.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and coordinate warehouse activities from receipt to delivery to shop and docks.
• Manage pullers, receivers, cycle counters and order pickers.
• Enforce safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Transmit and explain work orders; balance books and track budgets.
• Prepare and maintain work records, time, wages and inspection results.
• Conduct staff meetings and counsel employees on development.
• Hire and train staff; address grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Plan schedules to meet workloads and staffing needs.
• Participate in monthly safety inspections and weekly toolbox talks.
