Job summary

Cedarparktexasedc is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor II in Cedar Park, TX. You will coordinate with staff to handle ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping, and manage supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and on the sales floor.

The role requires 1 year of supervisory experience and 2 years of warehouse experience, with strong PC skills. Night/weekend/early morning hours may be required, and pre-employment background checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years’ warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor: Understand workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
• Manage: Coach, train, hire and support staff. Provide regular feedback and recognition. Hold staff accountable for fulfilling their key responsibilities and goals satisfactorily.
• Plan: Develop agendas, conduct monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
• Punctuality: Apply the attendance policy to scheduled training events just as it is applied to regular work schedules.
• Safety: Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and immediately correct inappropriate operating behaviors.
• Teamwork: Perform duties of supervised staff to assist in meeting deadlines and/or to fill in when short staffed.
