Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced operations coordinator to drive daily performance, mentor the team, and uphold strict safety and data-security standards. You will monitor workflows, support the Operations Supervisor, and ensure high-quality site performance.

With 5+ years in warehouse or logistics, you will manage inventory controls, SOP adherence, and lead onboarding for new hires in a high-volume environment at Iron Mountain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a warehouse or logistics role, in a coordinator/lead capacity.
• Experience with inventory management systems and SOPs for high-volume facilities.
• Strong problem-solving, team communication, and leadership skills.
• Education: High School Diploma; industry certifications (e.g., Forklift, OSHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operational excellence: monitor workflow, SLAs, and support the Operations Supervisor during absences.
• Mentor and onboard new hires, training and empowering the team.
• Maintain strict safety and security standards and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Drive Daily Operational Excellence: Assist in directing workflow, monitoring SLAs, and stepping in for the Operations Supervisor during absences to maintain continuous, high-quality site performance.
• Mentor and Manage Team Members: Lead, train, and onboard new hires, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in their roles.
• Maintain Strict Safety and Security Standards: Enforce full compliance with organizational safety protocols, facility security policies, and industry regulations to safeguard employee safety and customer data.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically within a coordinator or lead hand capacity.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for high-volume facilities.
• Proven ability in problem-solving ,team communication and strong leadership skills.
• Education/Certification: High School Diploma is required; industry-standard certifications (e.g., Forklift, OSHA) are highly preferred.
