Placements24 is seeking a diligent Warehouse Operations Clerk to support day-to-day warehouse activities in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This entry-to-mid level role involves data entry, record keeping, inventory counts and assisting warehouse supervisors in a busy logistics environment.

You will maintain accurate records, use a Warehouse Management System, and collaborate with drivers and internal teams to ensure timely shipping and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse or administrative experience.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn new processes and technologies.
• Knowledge of the Queenstown area is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Record and update inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Maintain organized warehouse records and filing.
• Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers regarding shipments.
• Support warehouse supervisors and team leads with administrative tasks.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols within the warehouse.
• Assist in organizing warehouse layouts and space utilization.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
• Perform general administrative duties to support warehouse operations.
