Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping associate to operate warehouse and office equipment, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and keep areas organized. You will verify materials, coordinate with carriers, and support inventory and training duties within a Monday-Friday schedule.

The role requires good reading, communication, and time management skills, with familiarity in MS Office and standard warehouse processes.

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse and office equipment as needed.
• Read and follow instructions.
• Keep warehouse and surrounding areas organized to meet housekeeping standards.
• Verify and track all material received, shipped, moved including quantity, size, and packaging.
• Communicate with machine centers, material handling, transportation carriers, purchasing, and management; schedule deliveries and shipments.
• Coordinate with customer service and materials management for shipment/delivery changes.
• Insert scheduled delivery and shipment appointments updating the system with changes.
• Pre-receive inbound material and complete receiving functions after delivery.
• Monitor inbound load status and flag overbooking to management.
• Oversee dock activity and dispatch inbound/outbound to proper areas.
• Scan receipt documents into the file.
• Assist with training new associates in the department.
• Back-up material handling as needed.
• May perform periodic inventory and cycle counts.
• Other duties as necessary.
