Job summary

ProAmpac in Omaha, NE is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities include keeping tubes and liners stocked, removing finished bags and tubes, assembling boxes, reading orders in advance, and maintaining pallets and packaging materials.

Forklift use and safety duties are part of the role. Excellent verbal communication is required, with daily safety checks and adherence to supervisor directions.

Qualifications

• Must have good verbal and comprehensive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply of tubes and liners to the Sewing, Inserting, PBOM bottomers.
• Remove finished bags from Sewing, Inserting, PBOM bottomers.
• Remove tubes from Tubers.
• Keep Tubers supplied with empty pallets.
• Assemble boxes for all Closing Department areas.
• Read production orders in advance.
• Have the correct boxes and pallets made prior to the production of an order.
• Help make picture frames as needed.
• Help bring in poly or paper to the tubing department with the forklift when needed.
• Must have good verbal and comprehensive communication skills.
• Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
• Perform forklift battery change as needed.
• Perform forklift propane tank change as needed.
• Complete daily safety check form at the beginning of the shift.
• Utilize forklift horn when traveling around corners and blind spots.
