Job summary

YQN Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager in the Romeoville, IL area to lead a full-time operations team and optimize warehouse processes. This role focuses on staffing, training, safety, and performance management while coordinating with cross-functional departments to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of warehouse operations and team management experience.
• Knowledge of the logistics sector with a network of logistics service providers.
• Strong leadership, influence, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork capabilities.
• Proficiency in Chinese speaking and reading is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of full-time employees, responsible for staffing, training, professional development, motivation, retention, and disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Propel workforce excellence by implementing progressive strategies in performance and productivity management. Provide consistent, equitable feedback, and offer coaching and counseling as necessary.
• Direct the operational activities within warehouse settings, including meetings to ensure adherence to work instructions, workflow processes, and safety regulations; oversee schedules and task completion quality.
• Administer the scheduling of employee time-offs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Generate and distribute various reports essential for daily operations.
• Deliver superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the security of the facility and uphold the integrity of the inventory.

• Generate and distribute various reports essential for daily operations.
• Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the security of the facility and uphold the integrity of the inventory.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operation management and team management.
• Knowledge of the logistics sector with a network of logistics service providers.
• Exceptional leadership, influence, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in Chinese speaking and reading is preferred
