Job summary

YQN is seeking a full-time onsite Operations Supervisor in Port Reading, NJ to oversee a team, manage staffing, training, and performance. You will drive productivity, coach staff, and ensure safety across warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating with cross-functional teams, producing daily reports, and delivering superior service to customers and partners. Work hours are 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM; salary ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, e-commerce management or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in small parcel/e-commerce outbound operations with high SKUs.
• Familiar with WMS wave management, carrier integration and small parcel packaging standards.
• Fast decision-making under cutoff pressure with ability to reallocate staff in real time.
• Chinese language skills preferred.

• Oversee a team of full-time employees, responsible for a wide array of tasks, including staffing, training, professional development, motivation, retention, and disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Propel workforce excellence by implementing progressive strategies in performance and productivity management.
• Provide consistent, equitable feedback, and offer coaching and counseling as necessary.
• Direct the operational activities within warehouse settings. This includes conducting operational meetings to ensure adherence to work instructions, workflow processes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the accurate implementation of work schedules and ensure the quality completion of tasks.
• Administer the scheduling of employee time-offs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Generate and distribute various reports essential for daily operations.
• Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the security of the facility and uphold the integrity of the inventory.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, E-Commerce Management, or related field is preferred.
• Professional Experience: At least 1 year of experience in small parcel/e-commerce outbound operations (high SKU count, multi-client environment).
• Industry Expertise: Familiar with WMS wave management, carrier integration, and small parcel packaging standards.
• Leadership Skills: Fast decision-making under cut-off pressure; ability to re-allocate pickers to urgent waves in real time.
• Professional proficiency in Chinese speaking and reading is preferred
