Job Title: Branch Distribution Support with Driving

Full Time / Non-Exempt

Location: Phoenix, AZ

General Summary: Under direct supervision, responsible for inventory processing, movement, and control; performs accurate product identification, movement, and preparation for shipping; and related work as required. Responsible for the safe operation of loading and unloading and timely deliveries to company and customer locations. Assist in monitoring the security of the warehouse and product within the warehouse. Physical attendance at work is essential. This role involves frequent face-to-face interactions with co-workers and requires attendance in the office. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Essential Functions:

1. Understand and carry out the Corporate Mission Statement and Ethical Standards.
2. Provide fast and friendly service following "Customer First" standards in person or on the phone.
3. Safely operate manual and, when certified, powered material handling equipment.
4. Use powered equipment to receive, stock, pick, and load bulk equipment.
5. Pull customer orders, load into delivery trucks, or stage for pickup, following safety procedures.
6. Prepare product for stocking and shipment, including receipt verification, packaging, and labeling.
7. Load/unload products, ensuring safe stacking and organization.
8. Verify accuracy of incoming orders, report discrepancies or safety issues immediately.
9. Follow safety procedures and initiate self-evaluation of safety practices.
10. Use information systems for product control and inventory accuracy.
11. Identify and process cross-dock eligible products.
12. Protect products from damage and ensure accurate inventory counts.
13. Maintain the appearance of the warehouse and facility.
14. Answer phones, provide information, and take messages.
15. Participate in cross-training activities.
16. Ensure proper billing of outgoing products.
17. Drive company vehicle for deliveries, confirm orders, unload, and verify products.
18. Perform pre-trip inspections, complete logs, and maintain vehicle documentation.
19. Follow customer delivery instructions and produce accurate paperwork.
20. Maintain vehicle fuel and report repairs needed.
21. Observe traffic laws and prevent distracted driving.
22. Represent the company professionally with proper uniform and grooming.
23. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification to operate powered equipment within set timeframes, ability to lift 75 pounds repetitively.
• Must be 18+ years old to operate a forklift.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ years driving delivery vehicles preferred.
• Basic spelling, grammar, arithmetic skills.
• Ability to start work at designated shift time.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicle class, ability to obtain DOT physical card.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to read invoices, catalogs, stock codes.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles if needed.
• Ability to read maps and directions for efficient delivery routes.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions, requiring bending, climbing, lifting, and movement during loading/unloading. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Typical schedule Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. This is a safety-sensitive role.
