Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse/Non-CDL Backup Driver. This role delivers compressed gas cylinders via hot shot truck, handles warehouse tasks, and maintains accurate order and inventory records.

You will load/unload, stock and label materials, operate forklift and pallet jack, and ensure safety and compliance across daily operations. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs, and occasionally lift 76+ lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compressed gas cylinders and hardgoods to customers via Hot Shot Truck.
• Receive branch inventory and perform warehouse duties; move and sort materials by hand or with equipment.
• Use a computer to update orders, backorders, fills, and inventory; pack parcels for mailing or third-party shipping.
• Stock, label, pick, pack, and distribute materials; conduct regular inventory checks.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment; ensure safety standards.
