Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC is seeking a Network System Administrator to maintain and secure our warehouse IT infrastructure across multiple facilities. You will supervise core networking gear, Windows servers, AD, and security systems to ensure high uptime for WMS, TMS, and automation platforms.

You will respond to outages, document configurations, and participate in facility expansions and customer onboarding. A background in logistics environments and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of experience in network/system administration, ideally in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics settings
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls
• Experience with wireless solutions such as Aruba and Network Extreme
• Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Microsoft Active Directory environments
• Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+/Security+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain core network systems including firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure across multiple facilities
• Respond to and resolve Tier 2/3 network issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks
• Maintain IP address management, VLAN configurations, and QoS for WMS/TMS/VOIP/CCTV
• Support server patching, backups, and AD administration
• Assist with deployment of new warehouses and onboarding of customers
