Job summary

Custom Goods Logistics is seeking a Network System Administrator to support and secure our warehouse IT infrastructure across multiple facilities. You will manage core network systems, including firewalls, switches, and wireless, while ensuring uptime for WMS, TMS, and related applications.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and security best practices, with a focus on reliability and incident response in a logistics/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network/system administration in logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with Aruba and Extreme wireless, Cisco switches, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proficient in Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Certs: CCNA or Network+/Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain core network systems across multiple facilities.
• Respond to Tier 2/3 network issues and outages with minimal downtime.
• Implement IT infrastructure standards during expansions and onboarding.
• Maintain network diagrams, asset inventories, and patch levels.
• Support security controls and assist cybersecurity team.
