Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX to support clean, organized facilities and a safe supply chain.

You will perform routine maintenance on mechanical warehouse equipment, work with contractors, and help manage inventory and safety compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance programs.
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and problem-solve various mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting tasks of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor all work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
• Operate equipment and remain equipment-certified where required.
• Tackle special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
