Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler Supervisor in Monroe, WA. The role oversees the flow of donated goods through the production area, coordinating dock to floor movements and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Pay rate is $23.97/hour. The supervisor leads dock/staging staff, conducts reviews, and maintains inventory while upholding Goodwill's DEI values and safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency preferred
• 1 year production or warehouse experience
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience
• Familiarity with dock equipment and lifting techniques
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Ability to learn new technology and software

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of the Dock and Staging staff with production areas, transportation, and the Production Manager
• Maintain a good working relationship with other production departments
• Write periodic performance reviews for all reporting personnel
• Audit quality decisions of material moving to salvage and to the production floor
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Oversee baling of salvage textiles and scrap metal operation
• Requisition production supplies as needed and maintain inventories on hand
• Perform other duties as assigned
