The role involves safely loading, unloading, and moving materials, building shipping crates, operating forklifts, and inspecting materials to ensure accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), can read English work orders, and has basic data entry and math skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Must be able to read English, as all work orders are written in English.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or crate shop experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to perform simple data entry and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Build and assemble shipping crates using tape measures, saws, nail guns, and other hand tools.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (approximately 20% of the role; forklift training provided).
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and damage.
• Perform basic data entry and simple math while working at packing stations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sorting pallets and crates in the outdoor yard.
