Job summary

TransPak is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support warehouse operations, equipment movement, and production readiness. You will stock, move, and load materials, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or pallet jack training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• May perform special continuous improvement projects as needed.
• Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use.
• Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Marginal Functions

• Housekeeping: sweeping and disposing of scrap or other miscellaneous items.
• Perform other related work as assigned.

Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to build a high performing team

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience and able to maintain certificationson equipment such as forklift certification or pallet jack training, as required by site.
