Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Wisconsin to unload, sort, and transport merchandise within a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate RF scanners and a forklift, wrap products as needed, and maintain safe, organized work areas.

Previous forklift experience is preferred, and applicants must be able to obtain a Fleet Farm forklift license and communicate effectively with coworkers. Basic math and computer skills are required for inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate an RF scanner to access Warehouse Inventory Control system.
• Wrap products as necessary using a wrapping machine and transport with forklift or pallet jack.

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you are responsible for unloading, sorting, splitting, distributing and transporting merchandise to various areas within the warehouse.

Job Duties

• Load/unload merchandise from semi-trailers, flatbeds, and overseas containers.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, bins or pallets.
• Operate an RF scanner to access Warehouse Inventory Control system.
• Print shipping labels, stickers, and/or placards prior to moving merchandise to ensure easy identification of merchandise.
• Safely transport merchandise using a forklift or pallet jack. To ensure safety and security, wrap products as necessary using a wrapping machine.
• Keep work area clean and free of any safety hazards.

Job Requirements And Education

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Fleet Farm forklift license and be able and willing to operate forklifts in a safe manner at all times.
• Ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all walks of life.
• Basic math and computer skills.
