Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler at NATSC Newport, RI to support logistics operations. The role involves loading/unloading, inventory control, and material handling in a secure, training-enabled environment.

The position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (Interim Secret to start), a strong work ethic, and the physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Prior warehouse experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; Interim Secret clearance required to start.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles and transport materials safely throughout the facility.
• Receive, inspect, issue, and store materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic and paper-based systems.
• Perform daily inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and powered material handling equipment.
• Package and prepare materials for shipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and security procedures.
