Avantor is seeking a dependable Material Handler for our Sparks, NV facility. You will receive, move, store, pick, pack, and ship materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to OSHA safety requirements. The role requires forklift proficiency and familiarity with SAP or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse.
• Forklift experience required; OSHA forklift and HAZMAT certs preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments, unload and inspect goods, document shortages or damages.
• Move and store materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Pick and pack orders; verify product numbers, lots, and serials.
• Process outbound shipments and arrange carrier pickup.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and enter data into SAP/WMS systems.
• Operate shipping software and maintain equipment and docks.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures.
