Job summary

NFI is seeking a Material Handler in Paramount, CA to move materials and finished goods within the facility, using hand trucks or manually. You will support warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate handling and housekeeping to maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, loading shipments, performing cycle counts, and using RF scanners to verify inventory. Higher attention to safety and detail is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs material handling manually or with a hand truck within the facility.
• Loads finished product onto pallets or hand trucks as required.
• Stacks skids or pallets in storage or staging areas.
• Loads and unloads freight safely and efficiently.
• Picks and packs customer orders for shipment.
• Applies labels to shipments according to requirements.
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation.
• Uses RF scanning for inventory accuracy.
