Job summary

ROMARK in Waco, TX is seeking a Material Handler-Level I to support warehouse operations. You will inspect equipment for safety, complete preoperative checks, and perform freight picking using an RF scanner and a WMS system to move goods efficiently.

You will also assist packing on production lines, handle pallets, and maintain a clean, safe workspace following GMP guidelines. A high school diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; overtime may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate all equipment associated with a warehousing environment (warehouse material handling equipment, RF scanner).
• Ability to frequently lift 35 to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must meet DOT sight and hearing requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.
• Ability to work independently while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Demonstrates reliability and consistently maintains high-quality work standards.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspects MHE for excessive wear or damage and completes preoperational checklists to ensure equipment is safe to operate prior to use.
• Freight picking: identify location, verify SKU and case count, ensure damage-free pallets for transport.
• Uses WMS system to identify product drop zones and staging areas for transport.
• Performs packing and line-support tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Adheres to safety guidelines, cleans work areas, and reports issues promptly.
